    • We will start from South America the first of November. The idea is to reach Lima in two months with a maximum of intense memories. Benoit habla un poco de español, Pierre learned with basis of Portuguese. It means that in those countries where English is not spoken by all the population, we will have a lot of fun (especially to communicate).

    • From Rio to Iguazu Falls, via Sao Paulo, we will probably cross the country via bus line. Then we will cross Paraguay. It is not a very touristic country but we expect a huge culture shock. Also we will cross all the North of Argentina. From Resistencia to Salta Canyon, beginning with Ibera Wetland.

    • Bolivia will be the country of thrill: we begin with a 5-days-jeep tour from Toupizza, where we will cross a natural park (wild-animal preserve). and we will arrive to the Salar de Uyuni (Give us funny pictures ideas!!!) Then we come towards Potosi, see some lamas and we leave to Sucre and la Paz. And.. we will go down Death Road by bike! (you know: this road where falling in the ditch is synonym of certain death! Yes this road!)

    • Finally Peru: one night in Juliaca along Titicaca Lake before leaving for Macchu Pichu. We could go to Arequippa and see Nazca Lines, if we have time. Ou come towards Amazonia. Lastly a plane is waiting fr us in Lima to Santiago de Chile where we will spend the New Year and above all we will prepare the following of the trip!

  • Oceania - the heart of our trip

    • Upon arrival in Auckland, we could visit quickly the city and go to find an accomodation outside the city. We could then take a bus direction Wellington. We will probably make some stops on the road (go to see the vulcano Tongariro) and so on.

    • Arrived in Wellington, we could take a ferry to Southern Island. More wild so more genuine, this Island is the heaven of backpackers like us. We hope to find fellow travelers to rent a car or a camping car can fit. (Wild camping is controled in New Zealand). All the island tour is on the plan and especially lots of trekking on the Mordor lands and splendid landscapes on the South West of the island.

    • Then it's the great departure to Australia. 3 months. And also a lot of little jobs. It will be the time to refill our bank account before the 2nd part of our trip.

    • Arrived in Sydney, we will need to get ready for our working holidays (opening bank account, finding jobs). We will visit obviously the city and Blue Mountains.

    • We should go for a ride in Melbourne, the time to find a job and visit (2 weeks). Harvest, fruit picking, farm work, we will try our best to spare.

    • Middle or end of April, we will be leaving for Brisbane and the Great Barrier Reef.

    • Just the time to dive to see this wonder and to delve into the swamps... and hop we go on board for our last booked flight before a long time: directour Singapore.

  • Asia - The majestuous final

    An image showing The third great part of the trip will take place on the Asian continent. Mandaatory step of every world travelers. Here is the 4 great steps of our journey:

    • South East of Asia will be visited in 5 days in Singapour and 2-3 weeks in Indonesia between Bali, Komodo Island, Borobodur temple, Bromo mount before going to Jakarta. From there, we could take a flight to Bangkoko (in May).

    • Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam are of course on our road. We will visit Bangko obviously and will do trekking in Chiang Mai if the weather is ok. Exploring the North of Thailand by the way could be awesome before going back Bangkok, next we want to cross Cambodia, looking to Anghor Wat temple on the road, resting in Pnohm Penh. Arrived in Ho Chi Minh City (also called Saigon), we could take the time to admire Mekong delta before following Vietnamese coast till Ha Long Bay (one of the gorgeous bay in the world). Then direction to Hanoi to get ready for a trek in Sapa. We are now arrived at the border of our next destination... (June)

    • The next step happens in ... China. And it won't definitively be the shortest (2 months)! From Sichuan to Lhassa, we see the country!. After crossing the border between Vietnam and China we will go towards Sichuan, Guilin, Jiughaishu, mount Huang, Beijing and its famous Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, Zhanghyie then Lhassa in Tibet.     • After the marvellous Tibet, we will ready to climb to the top of the world! And we will need this strength and motivation, because we will approach to the Mount Everest. Climbing is not possible with our budget (25 000€ the expedition)... Too bad, we would have done it by hopping. (just jump on one foot) What a pity! But we do not want to go backward, so we will go down the other slope: direction Nepal.

    • Lastly Asian trip will end with 2 months in Nepal and India. To get our interior peace, Nepal will be perfect with all its atypical landscapes, so huge, natural and not polluted. The Bhouddist atmosphear is such that it is prolific to the effervescence of happiness ideas. And we will be peaceful and above all well rested when we will enter in India, the country of the constant mess; so messy that even our plans are not clear at all. In India, relax, do not be eager, just go where the life send you. Even though we have considered steps to Varanasi (Benares), Calcultta, Mumbai (Bombay), Rajasthan, Agra, Delhi and why not Ladakh.

    • On October 27th, the trip will be ending, our flight will take off to Dubai, that we will visit 3-4 days before the coming back plane the 31st October 2015. Here is our great project!

    5 ans plus tard, ça fait plaisir de voir la grosse différence entre le programme et le voyage. Néanmoins nous avions suivi les grandes étapes.
