13. São Paulo with Eduardo

Scary arrival

- We arrived at 5am after 6 hours of night bus and wanted to find a place to stay. Everything was prepared, metro, walking with plans, except we didn't think the price would be doubled at the hostel we wanted. Happily we found a good hostel in another part of the city were the stay was very correct. The hosts were a poor family living with the earnings of the hostel. They were actually very human and kind with us.

- Eduardo, a good friend of Pierre, came from Porto Allegre for the weekend with us. We visited together the cathedral...
- The Bank (old one)
- The Bank (new one)
- The train station of São Paulo with 4 lines (the biggest in the country). The fact is we can't find reasonable trains network in Brazil or Argentina due to the countries policies. This could be a problem for the following times when the lack of petrol will change everything...
- And one museum
- São Paulo is not the kind of city, we were specially looking for. Too crowded, insecure and expensive. However we notice parties are very important in this city.
