42. Gorgeous Georgetown

- Georgetown is the main city of Penang Island, located northwest of Malaysia. It is a sensational sightseeing attraction: on the walls of the buildings in the city, we can contemplate street art, wall paintings adapting and inspired by the city background to draw from its essence. Here is my photo report:
- Let's start with the biggest mural painting I found: a tuk-tuk bicycle.
- A house arch subtly transformed into the huge mouth of bearded old man.
- A girl dealing with the windows of this house single-handedly.
- Within this café, a spiral staircase leads to a painted door, where obviously a celebrity is supposed to appear soon, according to the heap of paparazzi waiting.

- Oh a minion! Special dedication to Yves!
- Malaysian half-caste
- A real motorcycle absorbed by a wall, including a driver that can be seen when tourists stop to pose in front of him.
- A broken wall and a possible explanation: a ninja would have smashed it, attempting to eliminate a wandering cat.
- Speaking about cats, the city has grown an army of cats.
- And one big ginger cat to rule them all.
- A basketball hoop is a good source of inspiration as well.
- There is magic in this child: standing on this chair and trying to catch this pot, I recognize myself as kids. The decor justifies the presence of this chair and this pot on the edge. What an illusion!

- There are other adventures to live in Penang. I have only seen Georgetown, but you can find the largest Chinese temple of southeast Asia, fantastic diving spots, charming museum and lots of other historical or tourist attractions. Keep in mind that Penang island is a superb stopover that will delight you!
