An image showing Once is not customary, hiking remains my favorite way to escape.
This time, I had the opportunity to follow Cécile in Isère. For her, it will be a week of paragliding training in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet.
For me, it's an opportunity to hike in the massifs of Chartreuse and Belledonne. And to enjoy it even more, Victor and Marta joined my first expeditions.
Let me tell you about our first hike of this stay:
  • Panorama of the Chartreuse Valley

An image showing By taking the path towards Dent de Crolles through the Trou du Glaz, we can appreciate the agility of a herd of sheep, grazing on the grasses of the steep slopes and also, the view of the Chartreuse massif.
  • Hole of Glaz and climbing

  • The Barrère trail

    4

An image showing The second part of the ascent will be done on a more accessible terrain: 300 meters of ascent to scan the peaks in search of chamois and marmots. I even have the chance to spot a nice marmot.
  • The view of the Dent de Crolles

  • Descent through the Pas de l'Oeille.

An image showing The return trip was made directly via the Pas de l'Oeille, a descent on the rocks that ends with a few small de-escalation passages equipped with cables without much difficulty, before returning to dry land at the end of the summer.
